The Birth of "NaturaCultura"
Some have called it Tao, Yoga, Permaculture, and Balance with Nature. Here in Costa Rica, we are referring to it as "NatureCulture", a concept that the locals are quick to grasp (No more perplexed expressions of "Que es Permacultura" :)
ReCognizing the immeasurable value of Cultural Diversity and Traditions, we are currently, along with Costa Rican Farmers and Communities, adapting and integrating the Ethics and Principles of Permaculture into Daily Life. Involving much more than mere translations, we are cocreating and refining culturally appropriate learning tools, models, and activities to simultaneously improve the quality of our daily lives and the health and resiliency of local ecosystems.
